In 1874, the 4' Flute was replaced by a Voix Céleste. 1973Overhaul by Danion-Gonzalez: •GO: Gambe 8' swapped for Quinte 2 2/3'. •Pedal: extended from 27 to 30 notes, manuals from 54 to 56 keys (though not connected to the windchests). •Storm pedal removed. 1989-2014Work by Bernard Dargassies.
Saint-Louis-d'Antin Church was originally built in 1780-1782 on the orders of King Louis XVI as a chapel for a Capuchin convent. After the Revolution, it became a parish church in 1802. The rest of the convent buildings were turned into a school (now Lycée Condorcet). Today, it's one of Paris's busiest parishes, with as many as seven weekday Masses.
